Paint correction refers to the process of restoring and rejuvenating the vehicles paint through the elimination of surface imperfections that dull the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true reflection. These imperfections include scratch and swirl marks, oxidation and fading, paint holograms, bird dropping etching and water spot damage. Once paint is corrected, it is a great idea to pair with one of our ceramic coating packages to lock in and protect from future defects.
Request QuotePaint correction is the process of removing imperfections from a vehicles paintwork, which involves the use of machine polishers and a range of different polish products. A fully corrected vehicle when viewed in direct sunlight will show only true reflections.
We begin by thoroughly washing the vehicle using the two-bucket method to remove dirt and surface debris.
Paint is decontaminated using a clay bar, which safely removes bonded surface contaminants.
A combination of machine, pad and polish compounds are used to achieve the best possible results.
Only used if polishing is not enough to remove deep scratches or other defects from a vehicles surface.
Any oils that are left over from polishing are removed prior to the application of ceramic coating or paint sealant.
Once all the previous steps have been completed, we apply a paint sealant for added protection and a glossy finish.
